OUR STORY
"A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere are our priorities."
It was in 1989 that Fredrik Widenfels became the owner of the establishment.
Of Swedish origin, he arrived in Saint-Paul-De-Vence at the age of 6.
He made his debut in the restaurant business at a very young age in renowned establishments on the French Riviera, in Saint Tropez as well as abroad - Munich and New York - where he gained experience and held positions of responsibility.
After a period of management (1993 to 2004), he took over the restaurant in 2005 together with his wife Nathalie, whom he met in 2001 in Munich, where she studied in French schools and at university in communication and management, then worked in media and communication agencies.
They now have 3 children - Philipp, Elena & Klara - who bring them all their happiness.
For many years now they have put their heart and soul into creating a lovely, friendly and welcoming place - making the place attractive all year round, both in terms of atmosphere and passionate cuisine based on fresh, quality market produce, was their goal.
