It was in 1989 that Fredrik Widenfels became the owner of the establishment.

 

Of Swedish origin, he arrived in Saint-Paul-De-Vence at age 6.

He began to work in catering at the age of 16 for the Colombe d'Or.

He met his wife Nathalie in 2001 in Munich, where she studied in French schools and at university Communication and Management.

They now have 3 children.

 

After a period of external management (1993 to 2004), the couple took over the restaurant together in 2005. Since then, they undertook large-scale works (renovation of the kitchen, transformation of rooms, new furniture, crockery...) in order to improve the attractiveness all year round.
